Had a call today - listened to the 'speil', but when I asked why he needed mine and my husband's DOBs to 'avail' of the offer and how I could verify if he was bona fide i got smart comments about - well I could be the gardener who had just wandered in and 'what use' could he 'make of my DOB anyway - unless to send me a bunch of flowers on my birthday'. When I pointed out that I had a perfectly reasonable query that didn't justify the smart comments he got quite aggressive in his tone, said he had more calls to make and hung up!Have also got the music when I attempted to call the number back, so claerly not very trustworthy

Just had a call from them, (this is about the 10th call in the last 3 days, but this is the first time I got to talk to them, contacted Eircom after this call, as the guy first said if was acting on behalf of eircom, then he said he wasn't, turns out, yourtel is a company, (which is being investigated by ComReg ), they act on no ones behalf, but have obviously got their hands on a database of eircom,s customers. If you get a call from them, just ask for the callers name, and hang up, contact eircom on 1800 689 689 to report them.

Ringing my landline at least twice a day for months. Nobody there when you answer. Called back from a mobile number. Sometimes get music but if u ring a few times usually an Irish male voice answers. I hung up! Wish I could block number to my landline. What's the purpose of this if there isn't anybody there when u answer?

They engage in aggressive marketing and call at all hours of the day from 08:30am to 8pm. They do not act on requests to stop calling, although they say they will. I've complained to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner about them.Agnes replied 12/12/14, 3:03 PMI am getting calls from this number day and night. What can I do to stop this. -

rook replied 9/27/14, 8:17 PMI purchased a new phone from Argos which has the facility to block unwanted calls.You can block up to ten numbers.Eircom also have a facility for reporting troublesome/unwanted calls. Go to eircom/forum and register then post your problem, you will get very helpful info there. Don't give up, come back here if you can't solve it.

So keep getting calls from this numer. Started introducing themselves as from Eirtell now Yourtell. They addressed me as Mrs Stephen. I called back the number and they stated they were calling from your tell.
They are trying to gather information from us. Asked if we were paying bills to eircommaureen replied 10/21/14, 9:50 AMHaving the same problems with this number. Rang about 10 minutes ago, saying that they are from Your tell and asking you to confirm that you are an eircom customer. -

think they a telephone company.they ring my house twice a day.even though i bluntly told them to stop ringing my landline. im realy getting fed up of this.
