I worked for a market research company for a few years as a telephone interviewer. A lot of the phone number databases we used had been obtained from a system that automatically dialed randomly generated numbers and disconnected as soon as it was answered.The numbers that were answered were put on the database and the invalid numbers or the ones which remain unanswered were removed from the list. This system was used to verify that the phone numbers the interviewers were dialing were valid and so would not be wasting any time dialing any invalid numbers. Sounds like this is whats going on dudes...

I have been getting maybe 4 or 5 calls a day from this number over the week, sometimes very early in the morning. I answered and a male wanted me to sign up to a direct debit payment scheme with Meteor. I told them that I've refused this twice, and he started to get irritated with me. He told me that in the month of February that I had topped up by 30 euro, listed other amounts spent during previous months. At this point I knew it was some kind of scam, as I haven't topped up at all this month, never surpass 20 euro (as a personal rule) and actually owe a 5 euro IOU. I asked his name at the end of the call, which he didn't actually answer. Be warned, block this number or don't answer.

I just received a call from this number 017652760 when I answered it started to dial out ( like I was ringing out )I tried to dial the number from my landline, it said its Eircom/Meteor and they would talk to me soon ( automated message) I hung up straight away and looked it up. That's where I found this site. I will be blocking this

I left eircom years ago, got calls each year and people coming round the door wanting me back, always told them not to bother me and they still do. I got a call from this number today, im expecting a rep call soon. block the number if you can

Had alot of missed calls from this Dublin number and had one from it a good few weeks earlier when i answered i also heard a ring tone as if i was ringing out so i hung up,bare in mind i,v no credit in phone to ring out so i started thinking it could be one of these sales places that charge a fortune for txts u dont want or ask for,.hope u understand the type i,m talking about they have Ad,s on tv for stupid txts u can have sent to ur phone to save credit and to get free txts but when or even if u dont apply they can still send u loads and loads of useless txts that cost alot of money..they sent me e18 worth once i,d never asked for and when i went in to meteor to sort it out it took ages to get them to stop and to get my money back but even if u,v no credit they still charge and take it off u when u top up..
