ha chiamato chiedendo conferma di un ordine amazon, questo perché la carta che ho usato aveva il nominativo diverso dal mio visto che è di un famigliare. Ho contattato Amazon, che inizialmente ha detto che di solito non fanno queste cose, ma dopo una verifica più approfondita mi è stato detto che la chiamata è stata fatta da un collega di un dipartimento specializzato. In pratica a volte quando parte un ordine in cui il nome della carta differisce da quello dell'account amazon parte un alert e devono chiamarti per verificare.

My bank doesn't think this call was from Amazon as they stated regarding my card usage. They said someone had used it for £412 on PC equipment. Told me to call my bank. Strange.

Incredibly suspicious. Called me moments after I made a large £1000+ purchase. They knew exactly how many items I had purchased, along with the amount spent.
No aggression. No pushing (as you would normally expect from scams) and they didn't want to know any personal details either. Still incredibly fishy. I told them nothing.
Contacted Amazon online and Amazon state it is likely a scam.
It's also strange how many "trustworthy" reviews have been left on this page, with no comments. Looks like fake reviews.
I called the number back and got no answer. If it was Amazon, they would have some sort of messaging service or automated message.
I'd advise telling them nothing and changing all of your passwords.
What is strange is that I have 2 factor authentication on absolutely everything and nothing suspicious has taken place prior to this. -

Caller said they were from Amazon - another account had been set up using my card number and purchases made. Impossible to confirm as Amazon very difficult to contact.
