I managed to get in touch with Sky today and this call was genuine.

A guy named Gary from Cork called on 14th Dec 2015, he had cork accent. He said he was from Sky and told me a lot of information about their packages in the UK. He asked if I wanted to join, he checked speeds in my area, he had my UK address, UK Phone number. He sounded genuine, he gave me time to think about signing up to Sky and said he would call back the following week at a time agreed by me but he didn't. I have been trying to contact Sky to help confirm if this is a scam but to no avail.

called me at 17:45 on 11 Dec 15 but left no message. No idea who they are.
