Modus Operandi:

Call from this number with hangup about 4 seconds after answering. On phoning the number, asian call centre voice claims to be from Irish Revenue! went no further.

TLDR; SCAM, they want to get your credit card number

Got called from this number, called back and each time I got a 'Irish Tax representative' that tried to get my card details because they want to send me 900E (yey)
When I asked the person to prove to me he is from Tax, I got a bogus badge number spoken quickly and call closed or call closed. I have a fun recording of this.
But as I have seen in other comments Gardai can't do anything.
